At Dope, we like to aim big when we shoot our shot. So to fire off this round, we went for the double-barrel.
Now that our Whiskey Barrel hit the spot and introduced many coffee fans to a boozy brew that can replace their usual iced drinks, it's time to meet the second shot of our double barrel -Specialty Robusta.
Often given a bad rap when compared to Arabica, it’s a lesser-known fact that if treated well, certain Robustas make brilliant brews. And if you still have your doubts, one sip of this badass bean will clear them up immediately!
By rising above its colonial legacy like the Malabar Hornbill, Bartchinhulla turned itself into an Indian Coffee powerhouse. Founded in 1856 as one of the first estates, shipping company James Lyle & Co was quick to make it the dopest-selling bean in all of London for decades to come. Today it's handled by the Manamel fam who run a tight ship of their own. They take part from growth to processing and sell to peeps like us so we can bring its legend straight to you. Now ain't that something to be proud about!

For the curious ones that want to explore beans which play with flavours far out of the usual - these are our the Eccentric Editions.
Does the idea of discovering new flavours in your cup get you hyped? Ever tried a coffee with an Almond, Orange and Caramel taste? That's what Baarbara is all about. How about one with Tobacco, Nutmeg and Dry-fruits? Swarnagiri Estate is full of those. Every brew is a journey way past the frontiers of normal with these epic oddballs.
Centuries ago, when the legendary Baba Budangiri dropped some of these beans in the hills of South India, even he didn’t know they’d become this absolute beast of a coffee. Grown at 4500 feet above sea level, this coffee’s got flavours that are complex like calculus. With it’s smooth, natural sweetness, it’s no surprise this bean’s been racking up so many awards!
On the run from the law for being so damn good they should be illegal - this is the Most Wanted Dope.
These 3 have been raking in love from Dope fans because they can't go wrong no matter how you brew. At the top, we have our espresso blend, Dark Matter, followed closely by single-origin badman Kalledevarapura. Third but catching up at rapid speed because of the push for coffees on ice is our cold brew blend Polaris.
